Khaki Snack works toward AMS mutiny

You know...when you think about it....

People said we were just out there. People said we were idealists with pipe dreams. People said we didn't even know what we were talking about. PEOPLE WERE WRONG. DEAD STINKING WRONG.

Today's journal announced that the College Merchant is going into the hands of the AMS... meaning that the AMS needs to create a new service. Now the same article made it clear that Ethan's plan is to loose money on the UBS... which really has no appeal other than tickets... and to put tickets in a seperate place... just to make the UBS... "stick it out..." and find their own little place in the ams service grand scheme. If the hope is to make a service go from very very little involvement with students to absolutly no involement with students... i'd like to say great job. I mean when has anyone ever gone to the UBS for something other than tickets... books are good... but the fact is... NOBODY BUYS THEM THERE...

getting back to the merchant though... ethan's plan is to open a convenience store/drug pusher in the J-duc... my feeling is A) if people want chocolate bars there is already a convienience store in the J-Duc... i mean do we need a place to buy $1 bags of chips... unless ethan is trying to appeal to 14 year old population of queens (young first years i know) this is single handedly the DUMBEST IDEA I'VE EVER HEARD.
Also.. a non-persicription drug shop...
are you actually serious....

do you think we need a whole shop to sell us medicine for when we're hungover...

what this rant is coming down do is that khaki snack was not being dumb... like all the best AMS teams we saw what was coming down the pipeline and tried to act on it... thats right ... it was supposed to be the new home of TONY'S CUTS... what students need is CHEAP GROCERIES and CHEAP ASTHETIC TREATMENTS...
to be honest A&P has such a stupid monopoly... if i could get a porterhouse on campus... i would eat porterhouse much more often...

we might seem like a joke... but we weren't at all...
please join me in pressing ethan to do something intresting with the new space (until it's torn down in a few years for the queen's centre).... come on...

we need tonys cuts... now more than ever...

that and a clock store....

i'll be honest ... my dad is is the clock buisness and a lot of them have gone out of buisness. i'm sure he'd appreciate it...

Would this clock store also sell watches? I need a watch. If the answer is yes, you have my support!
